Took a trip down part of the Clinton I don't recall doing - the section starting at Hayes (off Utica) down to George George park (off Moravian between Cass & Harrington). I have put in at Budd Park off of Clinton River Road, which is on this route, but have not done this particular stretch as a trip.
I must say it was a rather enjoyable section to do. I joined my friend Mikey and we shuttled a car down to George George park by taking Utica to Milar to Moravian. We put on around 9:30am and it took around 2.5 hours to get down. The Put In is off the park on Utica at Hayes, just NW of that intersection. There was one mandatory portage and about 2 spots where you had to pay attention to get through. The banks of the river in this section are kind of steep and slick because the river is cut into a deep channel for most of the trip. It's a relatively easy section but there is some current and it makes for a nice day on the river. The Fraser gage was around 6.6 feet or 270cfs on this run.

This section is an alternative to the Budd Park to Mt. Clemens run, when you get out at George George park on Moravian you are almost to Grosebeck. The take out is a little hard, we got out on river Left after the Moravian bridge. The bank was slick with mud and then there are a bunch or rocks you have to traverse up to get to solid ground.
The Old Town Pack 13' boat, I paddled it like a kayak with 2 blades
Mikey in his 14' Mad River Winooski kevlar boat, nice!
An "urban" scene with the power tower in the background
The Put In off Utica, that is Hayes Road bridge
Colors were great with the gray clouds
The "Winooski" & "Mikey"!
